​​The Wake Thief Package includes everything you need to ride:

The 100 cm x 44 cm board (2.4 kg, 14.2 L) is built for easy launches from docks, shores, or boats. It pumps smoothly from a balanced, neutral stance so both legs share the work, with a tuned nose rocker for better touchdown recovery and a concave deck for natural turns.

Wake Thief Scooter Package

The 100 cm x 44 cm scooter board (3.3 kg, 14.2 L) is built for easy launches from docks, shores, or boats. It pumps smoothly from a balanced, neutral stance so both legs share the work, with a tuned nose rocker for better touchdown recovery and a concave deck for natural turns. The scooter board is reinforced with extra carbon and two stringers to handle the forces from the removable handle.

The adjustable, removable handle (78 cm wide, 80–93 cm height) mounts to the nose of the board. It can be installed for beginners or removed for traditional dock starts and towing behind a boat or jet ski.

Wake Thief Scooter Board & Handle
The Wake Thief Scooter Board & Handle was designed to make learning foiling dramatically easier. The removable handle attaches securely to the nose, so you can start with the handle for extra stability and remove it later for traditional dock starts or towing behind a boat or jet ski. Its shape and dimensions are based on the original Wake Thief board, but it’s built tougher to handle the unique forces of scooter-style riding.

This board is heavier than the standard Wake Thief board for good reason. It features two full-length carbon stringers plus a 7 oz carbon patch reinforcing the handle attachment area. The top and bottom layers also use twice the carbon of the original board, giving it the extra strength needed at the nose without sacrificing the lively feel you want while flying.

The nose rocker is carefully tuned to improve recovery during unexpected touchdowns while pumping and to help the board rise smoothly during tow-ups. The concave deck creates a natural connection with your feet, making turns through your toes and heels feel intuitive and effortless.

I’ve always loved 100 cm board lengths — short enough to feel playful and skateboard-like, with incredible visibility under the board, yet long enough for comfortable tow-ups. At 14.2 L of volume, this board pushes back nicely against your feet during submerged starts and rises to the surface at a predictable pace.

Most boards ride too nose-high while pumping, which tires out your back leg quickly. We designed this one for a neutral, balanced stance so both legs share the load equally. The result is smoother, more efficient pumping that lets you ride farther and longer with less fatigue.

For best performance, mount the mast at the “0” position. If you want easier tow-ups, simply slide it slightly toward the tail to increase the planing area in front of your feet.

The board also comes with a travel backpack bag, making it easy to take your setup anywhere there’s water. The bag is designed for real mobility — you can walk, hike, bike, or scooter to your launch spot. It includes a Velcro pocket for small items, a waist strap, adjustable shoulder straps, and a drain hole at the bottom. I recommend letting your gear air dry for a few minutes before packing it up.
